Germany’s Great Bavarian Circus was founded in 1985 in München, Bavaria, by the Spindler family — a passionate family of performers who dreamed of bringing the golden era of European circus to the world. What began as a small touring company with a handful of acts has grown into one of the most celebrated family circuses on the international touring circuit.

Today, Max and Monika Spindler are proud to see their children and grandchildren carry the torch — with sons Manuel and Silvio and daughters Judith and Verena all contributing their unique talents to every show. Bavarian Circus is not just a company — it’s a family tradition passed down with love, dedication, and a touch of Bavarian magic.
